Huawei has announced the EMUI and Magic UI February 2020 security patch details. According to Huawei Central, the security updates includes CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) announced in the February 2020 Android security bulletin.
The security updates include fixes for 2 critical and 20 high-level issues. It means the company has fixed different issues and bugs in this update.
The source reported that there were issues with Huawei’s OS, Kernel, and Driver updates that need to be fixed through software updates.
There was one issue (fixed in the latest security patch,) which allows silent code execution on the device that leads to data theft and spreading malware.
Huawei recently removed Mate 10 series from the quarterly software update list, which seemed to be a temporary step.
