New leak reveals AMD will release Ryzen 4000 series desktop processors 

The revealer revealed that AMD will launch the Ryzen 4000 series desktop processors code-named Renoir-X in response to Intel’s just-released 12th-generation Core 65W model.

Moreover, Renoir X can be seen as a coreless version of the Renoir series APU, and should still use the 7nm process and Zen2 architecture. According to the news, there are currently known 4-core, 6-core, and 8-core models.

In addition, the detailed specifications of the AMD 7nm Athlon Gold PRO 4150GE were also revealed not long ago. The specifications are 4 cores, 4 threads, and Vega 5 core display, which may be in response to Intel’s newly released new Pentium processors.

Furthermore, Intel’s new-generation Core 65W processor is now on the shelves, and the i7-12700 with 12 cores and 20 threads is priced at 2,699 yuan. Three 12th-generation Core i5 processors are now available on, including the i5-12400, i5-12400F, and the China-specific i5-12490F.

The i5-12400 is priced at 1699 yuan, the i5-12400F is priced at 1499 yuan, and the i5-12490F is priced at 1620 yuan. In addition, Intel’s new generation of Pentium G7400 has also been launched, 10nm dual-core four-thread, priced at 699 yuan. At present, AMD has not officially announced the release time and price information of the new Ryzen 4000 Renoir-X desktop processor.
