Render leak reveals Google Pixel Watch may come with a round frameless design

Google is developing a Pixel Watch smartwatch, which is planned to be launched next year, once again making efforts in the wearable device market.

Now, new leaks further increase the weight of the report and also reveal the design of the watch. YouTuber John Prosser shared renderings of the so-called Pixel Watch. John said that these images are Google’s official marketing images, not 3D CAD renderings.

As you can see from the picture, this watch is called Google Pixel Watch, with a round frameless design. It also has a crown on the right side and what appears to be a microphone. In the rendering, the watch shows operations such as opening Google Maps for navigation and making calls.

Moreover, the 9to5Google pointed out, the renderings John shared in April may have been created based on these images, so it may be an earlier version of the design. According to John, the Pixel Watch has not been canceled and is “closer to the official release” and may be released in 2022.

Furthermore, many previous reports pointed out that the internal code name of Pixel Watch is “Rohan”, and it needs to be charged every day and use a proprietary strap similar to Apple Watch. It is expected to run the latest version of Watch OS.
